Cookies Policy

This page explains which cookies the obsignals.com website uses, what they are for, and how to refuse them.

There is one, and it is for measurement: Google Analytics, so we know how many people visit and which pages they read. There is no advertising here, no cross-site tracking, and nothing is sold or handed to data brokers.

The Chrome extension does not use cookies. It keeps your preferences and your session in the browser's local storage, which is a different thing: it is not sent to any server on each visit, and it is removed when you sign out or uninstall.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. They are used to remember things between pages and between visits, and also to count visits.

The cookies this site uses

Measurement, and nothing else. We use Google Analytics, property G-0JH3JFQF6F, loaded from googletagmanager.com.

It records that a visit happened, which pages were read, roughly which country it came from, and a browser identifier that lets Google tell a returning visitor from a new one. It operates under Google's own privacy policy.

There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no cookies set by any other company.

The other request that leaves our pages

The pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google receives that request and, with it, your IP address, under the same privacy policy. Google Fonts sets no cookie.

That is the whole list: Analytics and the typeface. Nothing else leaves the page.

How to refuse or delete them

Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing that stops Analytics and costs you nothing here: every page works exactly the same without it, because nothing on this site depends on remembering you.

Google also publishes a browser add-on that turns Analytics off on every site that uses it.

Refusing changes nothing about the signals, the extension or your account.

If this changes

If we add advertising, cross-site tracking, or any cookie beyond measurement, this page changes before that goes live. That order is the only one that keeps this page true.
