FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the Cataloguer?

The Cataloguer is a tool inside the Obsignals extension that builds lists of binary options signals in advance, from what has already repeated in each asset’s history. You set the criteria, and it returns the list with the time, the asset and the direction of every entry.

Can I catalogue for the next day?

Yes. The list can be built for today or for tomorrow. Tomorrow’s list is ready a day ahead, with the times already on the date they are meant to be traded.

Does the Cataloguer work on the OTC market?

It works on both. You choose between the standard market and OTC before generating, and the assets available change with that choice.

What is accuracy in the Cataloguer?

It is the win rate the asset had over the period analysed — 80%, 90% or 100%. It is the search criterion, not a promise about the list that comes out: the Cataloguer looks for assets with that past performance, and past performance does not guarantee the next signal.

What are martingale G0, G1 and G2?

They decide what counts as a win when the list is built. G0 are the signals that won on the first entry; G1, those that won after the first martingale; G2, after the second. The more levels you accept, the more signals enter the list.

What is the best configuration?

There is no configuration that suits everyone. The Cataloguer ships with a preset, and the way forward is to start from it and test variations until you find the one that fits how you trade.

What is the best time to use the signals?

They can be used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — the OTC market does not close at the weekend. The accuracy criterion does not depend on the time of day.

How do I get better results?

Check the trend of the asset and trade with it, and avoid news hours. The list shows where there was repetition in the past; reading the moment is still yours to do.

Do I have to enter at the exact time of the signal?

Not necessarily. You can enter at the open of the candle, at the exact time of the signal, or trade the retracement.

What is a retracement?

A retracement is placing the order while the candle is against you — on a call signal, entering only when the candle is red. It works best on a 5-minute expiration.

Which brokers do the lists work on?

Standard market: Quotex, IQ Option, Pocket Option, Bullex, Exnova, Binomo, Olymp Trade, ExpertOption. OTC market: IQ Option, Bullex, Exnova.

Do the lists work for Forex?

No. The Cataloguer builds signals for binary options only.

How much should I start with?

Practise on a demo account before putting in real money: master the Cataloguer, learn to trade with the trend and settle your money management. Move to a live account only when you feel confident. Trading binary options involves high risk and can result in the loss of all funds invested.

How do I check whether the signals in the list won?

With the Checklist, the other tool in the extension. You paste the list, choose the date it refers to, and it shows how each signal ended.

How many lists can I build?

The limit is not per day. A free account builds three lists for the life of the account; on Premium, as many as you want.
